Mineral makeup uses inorganic mineral pigments and fillerslike iron oxides, titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, mica, kaolin, and silica—instead of dye-heavy, water-based emulsions. These powdered minerals provide color, coverage, light diffusion, and oil control with short, simple ingredient lists.Coverage with breathability. Titanium and zinc provide soft-focus opacity; iron oxides deliver stable color.
